VENICE!!! I wish I could show you all of our pictures, the top one is St Marks square where everyone gathers and it it so wonderful to just sit there and watch all the people. We took a gondola ride, fun, and went to an island which is where all the glass blowing was done. It was kept away from the city so if they had a fire it wouldn't destroy the city. This is going to be a random blog for quite some time until I catch up on all the fun things I'd like to share.

This was part of our last trip around the country - Nova Scotia. It was beautiful in the fog and rain and cold and would be amazingly beautiful in the sunshine!!! This was the house that inspired the story of Ann of Green Gables.

We went to Tait's game on Labor Day, they played in Mount Vernon. We didn't get to see him play, he is #5 on the side lines but I thought I'd share the pictures I did get that day. It's hard to tell but it's raining! We didn't end up staying for the whole game.

I was watching Parker and Claire for a little while one morning and she went outside and climbed into the doll stroller. She looked so cute I couldn't resist taking a few pictures (15 to be exact) and thought I'd share a few with you!!!

Welcome to the Bishops' Storehouse where spend some of our week. It's a wonderful way to serve and we have 2 fantastic couples to serve with. Dad just told President Lamb that we would serve another year there because I don't want to go on a mission with him. Needless to say I had to explain that that was NOT TRUE!!! But we will serve until next November, at least.

Dad was so inspired by the wonderful Adirondack chairs we had to relax on in Florida, he came home and immediately sent for plans to build his own. He has now started another one. Great job, don't you think!!! He even put a place for a drink on the arm of the chair and a place on the side (which I should have taken a picture of) for magazines or books. He would love to make one that glides and a bench that glides.

This was the great night of meeting for the first time or seeing for the first time in fifty years some of our cousins. Kay Sigurjonsson is the one in the picture by herself and Bruce and Marjorie Johnson are with Uncle Fred. We had a fun time telling each other what has been happening in our lives and also sharing pictures.
